Agile Leadership Training
Effectively Leading Teams Under High Dynamic Conditions
When requirements change rapidly, teams need room to maneuver and a shared direction. This presents a challenging task for leaders: they must enable independent action while simultaneously ensuring that everyone is working towards common goals.
In Agile Leadership Training, participants practice leadership techniques that allow them to combine both aspects in their leadership practice. The training is based on the Align-Empower model of agile leadership developed by cidpartners.
How leaders can provide freedom while also offering good guidance
Tell us about the leadership requirements in your organization in a no-obligation consultation. Together, we’ll sort through your questions and outline a possible next step.

Who is Agile Leadership Training suitable for?
This training is designed for managers who want to lead their teams effectively, even during times of change and unclear requirements. You’ll learn how to provide guidance, foster personal responsibility, and facilitate collaboration without having to make every decision yourself.
This training is particularly helpful if you’re facing the following challenges:
Typical leadership situations:
- Managing change: New demands arise, priorities shift, and the right path isn’t yet clear. How do you provide your team with guidance without having to preempt all the answers?
- Enabling more autonomy: You want to delegate more decision-making to the team without losing sight of the big picture. How much control is necessary, and where can you delegate responsibility?
- Targeted collaboration: Employees and teams work independently on different tasks. How do you ensure that everyone is working towards common goals and effectively coordinates their work?
- Situational leadership: Sometimes your team needs clear guidelines, sometimes more freedom to find their own solutions. How do you recognize what each situation requires and find the right balance between alignment and empowerment?
Prior knowledge of Agile Leadership is not required.

How the training supports managers in their daily work
When does a team need clear guidance, and when does it need more autonomy? How can both requirements be reconciled? In the training, participants work with the guiding model on concrete leadership situations. They test different approaches and develop ideas that they can directly apply to their everyday leadership practice.
Better assess your own leadership situations
Participants bring challenges from their daily leadership experience and examine them using the guiding model. They recognize when it is important to set clear goals and parameters, and when they can give employees more autonomy. In this way, they gain guidance for the conscious use of alignment and empowerment.
practically test different approaches
In exercises and simulations, participants practice how to act in typical leadership situations. They compare different approaches and reflect on their effectiveness. This expands their range of options and gives them more confidence for similar situations in their everyday work.
transfer insights into everyday leadership practice
The training doesn’t end with the final exercise. During practical phases and transfer tasks, participants apply selected approaches in their own work environment. Follow-up sessions provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and specifically adapt their leadership style.
