Responsibility

As a company, we are part of society and bear responsibility for the impact of our actions. For cidpartners, this is particularly evident where we can exert influence ourselves: in our commitment to a democratic culture and in the responsible use of resources.

How our attitude is reflected in our work

Responsibility not only shapes our actions as a company. It also influences how we work with customers, weigh decisions, and understand quality.

needs participation

Democratic culture thrives on people remaining in dialogue, taking different perspectives seriously, and being able to reach an understanding even when positions differ.

Therefore, we support initiatives that strengthen democracy and promote social participation. We want to contribute to preserving and creating spaces where participation, respectful debate, and collaborative learning are possible.

In 2026, our Christmas donation will support the Network for Democracy and Courage (NDC).

Responsibility begins with what we ourselves can influence.

“An effective sustainability transformation requires, above all, leadership that conveys a clear vision, promotes continuous communication, and involves the entire workforce.”

“For me, sustainability has an ecological, economic, and social dimension. That sounds big, but at the same time, it’s worthwhile to start small. Not to be paralyzed by the sheer scale of the challenge, but to take action… to move forward step by step and to develop a shared enjoyment in making the company sustainable and future-proof.”

“Sustainable or – even better – regenerative business models are not a temporary business trend. They are the core of a development that aims for a livable future in which other business models are simply no longer a viable economic option due to planetary limits.”

Use resources

We also strive for continuous improvement in our own business operations. This includes being mindful of resources and travel, and keeping a close eye on the environmental impact and sustainability risks of our actions. We regularly assess where we can exert influence and act more responsibly.

For several years now, we have also forgone Christmas cards and gifts, donating the allocated budget to social or environmental projects. In addition to the Network for Democracy and Courage, we have supported organizations such as Kidshelp Cambodia, Save the Children, and a beech forest restoration project run by Wohlleben’s Forest Academy in recent years.
