We apply our methods and approaches to ourselves first before passing them on to our clients. Also, we can develop methods further or combine them in a beneficial way.

As a rule, there are no patent remedies. Together with our clients, we develop solutions that meet the specific situation and the characteristics of the organization. To this end, we have built up a large arsenal of methods which we can combine in tailor-made process and learning architectures.

FLEXIBLE SUPPORT

Depending on the topic and the phase of a project, it sometimes makes most sense to work closely with the client and provide intensive support, and sometimes to provide more in the way of external impulses. So the form of our cooperation ranges from selective workshops, training courses, large group events to work camps lasting several days or weeks. We also frequently use virtual cooperation scenarios and work on an international scale.

THE HISTORY OF CIDPARTNERS

cidpartners was born out of the idea of setting up a consulting company that effectively combines the advantages of process oriented and professional consulting expertise relating to development and change processes. The focus of cidpartners has always been on qualitative growth and the development and integration of innovative consulting approaches. cidpartners and its predecessor organization trapp + partner have experienced continuous growth since the earliest days.

2002 Detlev Trapp founds trapp + partner as a consultancy for change communication in Cologne.

Combination of systemic, process-accompanying consulting with expert advice on all aspects of change management and communication. Development and support of change communication strategies, M&A processes, structural changes and value processes as well as the development of management teams.

2006 Detlev Trapp and Petra Sontheimer found cidpartners PartG in Cologne. Consulting for organizational development and communication..

Accompaniment of complex change projects and long-term development processes, work with management teams and individual support for executives. Certification for various diagnostic instruments. Development of innovative cooperation and dialogue formats for change and strategy processes.

2008 Detlev Trapp founds cidpartners GmbH with headquarters in Bonn, initiates its further development by means of potent partnerships and expands the scope of the consultancy services.

In addition to complex change processes and the support of management teams, the focus is increasingly on topics such as dynamic control, transformational leadership, design of strategy processes and the development of dynamic organizational models. Extension of the methods portfolio in cooperation with Christiane Schneider. Inclusion of approaches in the area of self-organization (Fluid Facilitation – 2008), effective leadership communication in cooperation with Prof. Fred Kofman (Conscious Business – 2011), Lean Management (2010) and dynamic organizational development (Holacracy – 2011). Conversion of the consultancy’s own organizational model to the Holacracy Rules of Procedure.

2013 cidpartners welcomes Sabri Eryigit as shareholder and managing director and celebrates the opening of the Berlin office. Sabri Eryigit brings with him extensive management and consulting expertise from his positions as a top executive in the automotive industry, financial services industry and energy industry.

At the same time, co-founding of Next Action GmbH in Berlin as exclusive marketer of David Allen's Getting Things Done in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The design of strategy processes as well as the conception and implementation of innovative management development formats and programmes emerge as new subject areas. Methodological developments take place in the fields of agile self-management (GTD), agile methods of project and innovation work (SCRUM, Design Thinking) as well as in the examination of different approaches regarding dynamic organizations (Sociocracy, Fluid Organization, Teal Organization).
