Surveys

Forms of surveys

In the scope of a project, it can make sense to get systematic feedback from employees, executives and internal as well as external stakeholders at various points in time.
In this way, it is possible to benefit from existing approaches right from the start, to plan target-oriented new actions and to evaluate implemented measures in a structured way. In many cases, a survey will already be the first stepping stone towards a possible change process.

The decision about the best possible form of survey is not only based on the intended objective, but also on other factors such as the number of people to be questioned, the time limit or the actual physical presence of the participants. Depending on the focus, individual or group interviews can be just as useful as a written survey.

We use the following forms of survey:

  • Individual interview
Individual interviews with selected stakeholders who can give valuable input for the project. Depending on the subject, interviews will last 45 to 90 minutes and be evaluated anonymously as and when required.

  • Group interview
Focus groups, consisting of 4 to 6 people, offer its members the possibility of sharing their experience and ideas. Groups will be surveyed according to a structured guideline; the following evaluation will be conducted anonymously, both by groups and subjects.

Written survey
The use of structured questionnaires enables us to canvass a large number of people on a given topic. When designing the survey, we ensure a balanced mixture of quantitative and qualitative questions in order to get a clear and comprehensive overview of the current situation as well as of possible approaches.
